About Us
Maison Juliette
Built in 2004 and renovated in 2024, Maison Juliette was designed to be a welcoming and warm home. As a professional rugby player who played in France, this house represents my deep connection to my South African roots. It is my anchor point, a place where my family and I could recharge after intense sports seasons.
A Family Project
Maison Juliette has primarily been rented out to vacationers looking to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of Wilderness. However, it has also been the venue for many family reunions, a place where our twin boys can reconnect with their South African roots.
When my wife was pregnant with our twins, we decided to keep the gender a surprise until birth. We knew, however, that if we had a daughter, she would be named Juliette. In the end, we welcomed two boys, Samuel and Joshua. In honour of this dream and special moment in our lives, we decided to name this house “Juliette”.
